Phase 2 trials showed up to 24.2% weight loss (about 58 lbs) after 48 weeks at the highest dose (12 mg weekly), outperforming some existing treatments like semaglutide or tirzepatide. It also improved blood sugar, cholesterol, and blood pressure. Common side effects include mild-to-moderate gastrointestinal issues (nausea, diarrhea).
